1. Introduction
Most industries adopt new technology in waves. AI is no different. And when you look at how sales training companies are responding to it, you can see the shape of the wave forming. The first movers have already made AI central to their offering—releasing branded coaching tools, forming strategic partnerships, and embedding simulations into their programs. Then there’s a middle group: they’ve acknowledged the importance of AI, and you’ll find blog posts and workshops, but little in the way of proprietary products. Finally, there’s the lagging third—companies still leading with their legacy methodologies, making only passing reference to AI, if any.
Out of 109 companies we examined, just over half (55) offer some kind of AI-based training or coaching solution. But not all AI is created equal. Some vendors are simply white-labeling tools like Yoodli, Skylar or Mindtickle. Others are weaving AI directly into their IP—training AI models on proprietary frameworks, embedding tools inside Salesforce or Gong, or building custom agents to simulate live coaching. This is the real shift. For these companies, AI isn’t a supplement—it’s infrastructure. It changes what the product is, how it’s delivered, and even who the customer is.
The rest? They’re betting that their expertise—built over decades of human-to-human sales training—will hold out a little longer. Maybe it will. But this is how disruption starts: slowly, then suddenly. What was once a content business becomes a software business. The firms who treat AI like a gimmick risk losing ground to the ones who treat it like an operating system.

Driven by the need for enhanced efficiency, data-driven coaching, personalization at scale, and adaptation to evolving buyer behaviors, AI is reshaping how sales organizations operate and develop talent. Reported benefits include substantial improvements in seller productivity, forecast accuracy, personalized customer engagement, and overall sales effectiveness. Organizations are increasingly exploring AI for learning, coaching, content management, and analytics to maintain a competitive edge.
Scope:
The analysis focuses on identifying explicit AI offerings—systems, products, or distinct functionalities—provided by the 109 listed companies for their clients in the context of sales training, coaching, or enablement. Information was gathered from company websites (as accessed through browse results) and supplementary research snippets current up to mid-2025. General discussions of AI trends or internal operational use of AI tools are noted but are secondary to client-facing offerings.
Methodology:
The research involved a systematic review of each company’s official website and analysis of provided research documentation. The presence and nature of AI offerings were determined based on explicit product descriptions, service listings, technology pages, or dedicated AI sections.
