Describe the roleplay you want, and Skylar builds it grounded in your methodology

A great roleplay used to take days to build, and every client needs their own. Now you describe what your reps should practise in your own words, and Skylar adds everything else it needs to be good.

What changed

You no longer build a roleplay field by field. You describe it: what your reps keep getting wrong, and what you want them practising. Pick the client and the team it’s for, and that’s the brief. No prompt engineering, no persona templates to fill in.

Skylar takes that brief and adds everything else a roleplay needs to be good. It draws on three sources.

Grounded in three things you already have

Your methodology, the way you teach it. Skylar reads your framework and picks out the stages this roleplay should test. If the brief is about stalls, it focuses on surfacing the real blocker and quantifying the cost of inaction, not on your whole programme.

Your client’s world, their market and their buyers. Who the reps sell to, what a typical deal looks like, how long the cycle runs and where deals tend to stall. The buyer your reps meet belongs in that market, not in a generic one.

Their reps’ real calls, what actually happens in conversations. Skylar looks at the team’s recorded calls to find where they’re strong and where they struggle. The roleplay pushes on the real gap, so it isn’t a skill they’ve already got.

What your reps get

A realistic buyer with their own priorities, personality and voice, plus the thing they won’t say unless a rep asks the right question. Every conversation is scored against your own scorecard.

Dana Whitfield, VP Operations at a regional logistics firm: cares about fleet downtime, guarded, won't mention that the budget isn't signed off unless asked

In the example from the video, Dana sounds keen. “Honestly? It all sounds great. Let’s revisit this in Q1.” The rep who takes that at face value loses the deal. The rep who digs finds the budget isn’t signed off and her CFO isn’t convinced, which is exactly what the coach wanted them practising.

Why it matters

Custom roleplays are what make practice feel real, and they were the slowest thing to make. When one takes days, you build a handful and reuse them across clients who sell completely different things.

Now each client gets roleplays built on their own market, their own reps’ weak spots and your methodology, in minutes. Your IP stays at the centre: Skylar builds from the way you teach, it doesn’t replace it.

Who benefits

Independent sales coaches. Every programme gets roleplays specific to that client, without days of prep for each one.

Sales trainers and training companies. Reps keep practising your method between workshops, on scenarios that match what they’re actually facing.

Sales teams. Reps practise against the buyers and objections they meet on real calls, not a one-size-fits-all script.
