Playbooks turn your training into one guided journey your team can't get lost in

What changed

Playbooks give you one place to build a full training journey, instead of scattering it across an LMS, a shared drive, and a calendar invite.

A playbook holds everything: your guides and PDFs, a live workshop or Zoom series, and the role plays reps complete before and after it. You lay it out in order — module one, then module two, then module three — and decide what unlocks when.

You can require a module to be finished before the next one opens. You can also gate a module by date, so it doesn’t appear until a set day even if a learner finished everything before it. Add a live event to the sequence and it becomes part of the same journey as the reading and the role plays around it, not a separate thing on a calendar.

Why it matters

Training sticks when it’s practiced in order, close to when it’s needed. A PDF sent two weeks before a workshop gets forgotten. A role play assigned with no context gets skipped.

A playbook fixes the sequence problem. Reps see the reading before the workshop, the workshop itself, and the reinforcement practice after — laid out as one path, not a list of disconnected assignments. The version we built for this update starts with a pre-read and an easy baseline role play, moves into a live workshop with a fresh practice session during it, and closes with two more advanced role plays and an answer key between them, so reps go back in already knowing what to fix.

Who benefits

Sales coaches and training companies. You design the sequence once — what comes before the workshop, what happens live, what reinforces it after — and every team you run through it gets the same structured path. Change the dates for a new cohort without rebuilding the journey.

Sales teams. Nobody has to remember what to do next. Log in, and the next step is either open or it isn’t. When it’s not, you can see exactly when it will be.

From the learner’s seat

A rep opens their playbook and sees a guide and a PDF to read before the workshop, plus one role play to complete first — an easy one, so everyone starts from the same baseline. The live workshop shows up next, with its own link if it’s remote. After the workshop, a second role play opens, this time more advanced, with an answer key available between attempts. Nothing is available before its time, and nothing requires digging through old emails to find.
