Short answer: Choose RNMKRS if you want reps doing a high volume of voice roleplay, around the clock, with gamification and instant feedback, and you want to pair the platform with Baker Communications methodology and coaching. Choose Skylar if you are an independent sales coach, trainer or training company delivering your own methodology to separate client businesses, and you need that methodology to run as practice your clients work through under your name.

Both put a rep in front of an AI buyer. The difference is whose method the rep is practising.

What RNMKRS is built for

Start with volume. The RNMKRS home page says reps can practise authentic two-way sales conversations any time with interactive natural-language AI characters. It lists unlimited roleplay, guidance on the complete sales process, high-repetition practice, voice-driven roleplay available 24x7, gamification, real-time feedback, customisation, scale and dynamic customer characters.

That is a clear thesis: reps get better by doing the conversation many times, not by hearing about it once. Voice and round-the-clock access remove the two usual blockers — no partner to practise with, and no time in the calendar.

The product page calls it Conversational AI for Sales. Reps get instant feedback and coaching; teams get real-time conversation-readiness data. It describes a workflow of evaluating a customer, training its AI and then practising repeatedly, and says customers can design a roleplay.

The engine underneath is described on the about page as a Conversation Engine — an adaptive game engine with a purpose-built narrow-model AI system for simulating and evaluating sales-conversation practice. Narrow and purpose-built is a design choice worth noting. It is built to do one job.

Methodology comes with it. The same page says RNMKRS has teamed up with Baker Communications Inc., so customers can pair RNMKRS scalable AI roleplays with BCI methodology, coaching and insight. Baker Communications’ own announcement, dated 20 May 2025, is titled “Baker Communications’ Affiliate Acquires RNMKRS to Revolutionize AI-Powered Sales Training”. RNMKRS is the current product brand.

If you want practice plus a method and coaching in one package, that pairing is the argument for it.

What we could not confirm

The public RNMKRS navigation we reviewed exposes product, solutions, about, resources, demo and login. We did not find a public pricing page, an integration catalogue, API documentation or a detailed compliance centre in that navigation.

That is a statement about the pages we reviewed, nothing more. It is not a claim that those capabilities are missing. If any of them is a requirement — pricing model, a specific integration, an API, a security review — ask RNMKRS directly and get the answer in writing.

Privacy and transparency

RNMKRS publishes a privacy policy. Read it, but read the date too: it carries an effective date of 20 September 2021, references RNMKRS.ORG and Transaction Communications LLC, and describes SSL for data in transmission.

A policy from 2021 does not tell you what applies today, in either direction. If you have a procurement process, ask RNMKRS for current documentation — the entity you contract with, where data is held, and what happens to conversation recordings — rather than relying on the published page.

What Skylar is built for

Skylar starts from a different seat. You are not the sales team. You train them. Your clients are separate businesses with their own buyers, their own products and their own objections — and each one pays you for your method.

Our sales trainers page sets out how that works. Skylar takes your methodology and turns it into AI roleplay customised per client: their buyers, their products, their objections, and the assessment criteria you choose to grade against.

That last part is the whole point. Your method is the product you sell. If the practice teaches someone else’s framework, your client is learning someone else’s approach with your name on the invoice.

Roleplay is not the whole system either. Skylar gives your clients courses, resources, roleplays, assessments and reviews of real conversations in one place. The workshop stops being an event and becomes a programme that keeps running between your live sessions.

For established training firms there is white-label delivery. Scope and pricing are agreed at setup. Clients see your brand, because your brand is what they bought.

Who should choose RNMKRS

RNMKRS is the better fit if:

  • You are buying practice for one organisation’s reps, not delivering to client businesses.
  • Repetition is the plan: you want reps running many voice conversations rather than a handful of set pieces.
  • Round-the-clock access matters because your reps cannot block out training time.
  • Gamification helps you get reps to actually do the reps.
  • You want real-time readiness data on where a team stands before they go live.
  • Pairing AI roleplay with Baker Communications methodology and coaching suits how you want the programme run.
  • You are happy to go through a demo to get pricing and technical detail.

Who should choose Skylar

Skylar is the better fit if:

  • You are an independent sales coach, trainer or training company, and your clients are other businesses.
  • Your methodology is what clients pay for, and the practice has to teach it.
  • You need roleplays customised per client, with their buyers, products, objections and assessment criteria.
  • You want courses, resources, roleplays, assessments and real-conversation reviews in one system.
  • You want practice to keep running between your live sessions.
  • You are an established firm and want the platform to carry your own brand.

RNMKRS vs Skylar FAQs

What is RNMKRS?

RNMKRS is conversational AI for sales practice. Its official pages describe two-way voice roleplay with natural-language AI characters, available 24x7, with unlimited high-repetition practice, gamification, real-time feedback and dynamic customer characters, covering the complete sales process.

How does RNMKRS work?

Its product page describes evaluating a customer, training its AI and then practising repeatedly. Reps get instant feedback and coaching during practice, and teams get real-time conversation-readiness data. The about page describes the underlying Conversation Engine as an adaptive game engine with a purpose-built narrow-model AI system for simulating and evaluating sales-conversation practice.

Is RNMKRS part of Baker Communications?

The RNMKRS about page says RNMKRS has teamed up with Baker Communications Inc., so customers can pair RNMKRS scalable AI roleplays with BCI methodology, coaching and insight. A Baker Communications announcement dated 20 May 2025 is titled “Baker Communications’ Affiliate Acquires RNMKRS to Revolutionize AI-Powered Sales Training”. RNMKRS remains the product brand.

How much does RNMKRS cost?

We did not find a public pricing page in the navigation we reviewed; the site routes to a demo. Ask for the commercial model, the term and what triggers a price change at the same time, since none of that is published.

Can I build my own roleplays in RNMKRS?

The official pages list customisation and say customers can design a roleplay. How far that goes — and how closely a scenario can match a specific client’s market and assessment criteria — is worth asking RNMKRS directly, because the reviewed pages do not go into that detail.

Is RNMKRS a good fit for a sales training company with several clients?

The official pages we reviewed do not describe delivery to several external client companies, branded delivery or a partner model. That reflects what those pages cover, not a judgement on what RNMKRS can do. If you run a training business, ask RNMKRS before assuming either way.

What does RNMKRS publish about security and privacy?

There is a privacy policy on the site, but it carries an effective date of 20 September 2021 and references RNMKRS.ORG and Transaction Communications LLC, describing SSL for transmission. We did not find a detailed compliance centre in the navigation we reviewed. Request current documentation directly as part of procurement.

Can Skylar deliver my methodology across different clients?

Yes. That is the design. You build the practice around your method, then customise each client’s roleplays so their reps face buyers, products and objections that match their market, graded against the criteria you set.

Can I put my own brand on Skylar?

Skylar offers white-label delivery for established training firms, with scope and pricing agreed at setup.

The short answer

RNMKRS is a credible choice for a team that wants high-repetition voice practice across the sales process, with gamification, instant feedback and a methodology-plus-coaching pairing behind it. Skylar is the choice when the method belongs to you and the learners belong to your clients.

If that second description fits, have a look at the Sales Coach Hub to see how other trainers run their programmes — then talk to us about what your version would look like.
