Awarathon is a broad video-led simulation and coaching platform aimed at internal training teams, with AI personas, one-way video assessments and layered manager and leadership reporting. Short answer: pick Awarathon if you sit inside one company and want a wide platform — AI simulations, video assessments, learning content, coaching and manager reporting — for the people on your payroll. Pick Skylar if you sell training, and the people practising are your clients rather than your colleagues.

Both tools run AI practice. Both are built by people who understand roleplay. They are drawn for different buyers, and that is the whole comparison.

An enablement lead trains one company, one product line, one set of buyers. A sales trainer trains five clients selling five different things, and has to keep one method intact across all of them. Those are not the same job, so they do not need the same software.

What Awarathon actually does

Awarathon is wider than a roleplay bot, and it is worth reading it that way.

Its sales page describes a safe environment where sales teams practise customer conversations and objections through AI-powered simulations. The roleplays are video-based, and they branch dynamically depending on what the learner says. The same page describes personal coaching tailored to a learner’s strengths and gaps.

The simulations page fills in the mechanics: two-way AI simulations, customisable AI personas, a reverse-role option, real-time scenario-based coaching, and instant feedback. Personas are offered in 22+ languages. That page also puts the product well beyond sales — product training, after-sales, behavioural, leadership and onboarding all sit in scope.

Then there is the assessment side. Awarathon’s video roleplay assessments are one-way: the learner records, the AI analyses and gives feedback. The page also describes creating quizzes from scripts. So a rep can be measured on a pitch without a live counterpart, which is useful when you are certifying a hundred people on the same message.

The AI coaching page ties it together under a system Awarathon calls Trinity, covering learning materials, one-way video assessments, two-way simulations, live-conversation analysis, and reports for learners, managers and leadership. The reports page adds feedback on uploaded video plus manager and leadership dashboards.

Read that list as a whole and the buyer becomes obvious. Layered dashboards for managers and leadership are what a large internal team needs. They are also things a two-person training consultancy will never open.

Where Skylar starts instead

Skylar is built for sales coaches and training companies. The unit of work is not a department. It is an engagement.

Custom roleplays run on the trainer’s own methodology and assessment criteria, then adapt to each client’s products, buyers, objections and situations. The framework holds still. The context moves. That distinction is the point, and you can see how it is put together on the build custom roleplays page.

Why it matters: any general practice tool teaches some default idea of a good sales conversation. For an internal team, a sensible default is a gift. For a trainer, it is a leak. Your method is the thing the client paid for, and it should be the thing the AI scores against.

Around the roleplays sit courses, resources, assessments and conversation reviews, so a client receives one branded programme rather than a reading list and a separate practice login. The sales trainers page sets out how that runs across several clients at once.

Delivering to clients: the question to ask Awarathon first

This is where the two products separate for anyone who trains for a living.

Awarathon does have a route for firms like yours. Its partner page lists four options — referral, reseller, alliance and technology — and explicitly names sales consulting firms and corporate training providers as suitable partners. The reseller route mentions flexible licensing, branding and customisation. The technology route mentions API access and deeper integration.

Be careful how far you read that. Branding and customisation under a reseller agreement is not the same claim as a confirmed white-label product, and the public material does not set out how separate client organisations are administered under one training company’s account. Those are the two questions that decide whether the tool works for your business, so put them to Awarathon directly and get the answers in writing: what exactly can carry your brand, and how are two clients kept apart.

Skylar answers both openly, because they are the design rather than an extension of it. Established training firms deliver under their own logo, colours, domain and company name through white-label delivery. Clients meet your programme, not a vendor you recommended.

Pricing

Awarathon’s pricing page lists three tiers — Pro, Premium and Premium Plus — with feature differences between them. It does not publish currency amounts, so there is no way to size a budget from the page alone.

One line there deserves attention. The page states that some marked features include trial credits and then charge based on actual usage. It is not clear from the public page which features carry that marker, so ask before you plan a rollout. Consumption pricing behaves differently from a seat licence when a hundred learners suddenly start practising in week one.

Skylar is priced on scope, agreed during setup and shaped around the client programmes you actually run.

Security, data and integrations

Awarathon’s security page says the company is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and SOC-2 compliant, hosts on AWS, gives each customer a logically separate cloud space, and supports SSO including Ping. It says detailed VAPT material is available by email. Its data-privacy page states SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001.

Two notes on reading that. These are the vendor’s own statements, which is normal — treat them as the start of a review, not the review itself. And the detailed security page does not itself specify a SOC 2 type, so if the type matters to your client’s procurement team, ask for the report rather than quoting a web page.

On integrations, the data-privacy page refers generally to connecting with existing tools, but the public pages we reviewed do not itemise named systems. If a specific CRM, LMS or dialler decides your purchase, confirm it directly and ask which way the data flows.

For Skylar, security and data handling are best discussed directly with the team, especially where a client contract carries its own requirements. Hold every vendor on your shortlist to the same standard, including this one.

Choose Awarathon if

  • The people practising work for you, not for your clients.
  • You want video-based roleplay with branching, plus one-way video assessments for certification.
  • You train beyond sales — product, after-sales, behavioural, leadership or onboarding.
  • Manager and leadership dashboards are a real requirement, not a nice line in a proposal.
  • You need learning materials, quizzes and practice inside one platform.
  • You have learners across many languages and want personas that match.
  • You are interested in a referral, reseller, alliance or technology partnership with a vendor.

Choose Skylar if

  • You sell training, and the learners are your clients.
  • Your methodology is the product, and roleplays must assess your framework rather than a generic one.
  • Every client needs practice built around their own products, buyers, objections and situations.
  • You want client-facing delivery under your own brand, domain and company name.
  • You want courses, resources, roleplays, assessments and conversation reviews in one programme.
  • You run several engagements at once and need one method to keep its shape across all of them.

Awarathon vs Skylar FAQs

What is Awarathon?

Awarathon is an AI-powered sales training platform. Its sales page describes a safe environment for sales teams to practise customer conversations and objections through AI simulations, with video-based roleplays that branch on the learner’s response, and personal coaching aimed at each learner’s strengths and gaps.

Does Awarathon do AI roleplay?

Yes, in two forms. Its simulations page describes two-way AI simulations with customisable personas, a reverse-role option and instant feedback. Its video roleplay assessments page describes one-way recorded assessments analysed by AI.

What is Trinity in Awarathon?

Trinity is the name used on Awarathon’s AI coaching page for its coaching system, described as covering learning materials, one-way video roleplay assessments, two-way simulations, live-conversation analysis, and learner, manager and leadership reports.

How many languages does Awarathon support?

Its simulations page says AI personas are available in 22+ languages. Confirm which specific languages you need before rollout.

How much does Awarathon cost?

Awarathon’s pricing page lists Pro, Premium and Premium Plus tiers with different features, but publishes no currency amounts. It also states that some marked features include trial credits and then charge on actual usage, so ask for a written quote and check which parts of the product are usage-priced.

Is Awarathon secure and certified?

Awarathon’s security page states ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification and SOC-2 compliance, AWS hosting, a logically separate cloud space per customer, SSO including Ping, and VAPT documentation available on request. Its data-privacy page states SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. These are vendor statements, so request the underlying reports during procurement.

What does Awarathon integrate with?

The public pages we reviewed do not itemise named integrations. The data-privacy page refers generally to connections with existing tools, and the partner page mentions API and deeper integration access for technology partners. Confirm any specific system directly with Awarathon.

Can a sales trainer white-label Awarathon for their clients?

Awarathon’s partner page lists referral, reseller, alliance and technology partnerships, names sales consulting firms and corporate training providers as suitable partners, and mentions branding and customisation under the reseller route. It does not, on the pages reviewed, confirm a white-label product or explain how separate external clients are kept apart. Ask directly before you build a client offer on it.

Which is better for sales trainers, Awarathon or Skylar?

Skylar, if your learners are clients rather than colleagues. Awarathon’s public material is shaped around developing people inside one organisation, with the content library and management reporting that job needs. Skylar is shaped so one methodology can run across separate client engagements, under your own brand, with roleplays built around each client’s buyers.

Can Skylar keep my methodology consistent across different clients?

Yes. Custom roleplays are built on your methodology and assessment criteria, then adapted to each client’s products, buyers, objections and situations. You are not rebuilding the programme every time you sign someone new.

The short version

Awarathon is the stronger choice for an internal enablement team that wants simulations, learning content, coaching, video assessments and layered reporting in one broad platform — and it has a partner programme worth a conversation if you also work with vendors.

Skylar is the stronger choice if training is your business, your method is your product, and your clients should see your name on it.

If that is you, start with the sales trainers page and see how the delivery model works.

Awarathon details here come from its official public pages, reviewed on 28 August 2026. Vendor pages change — verify current details directly before you buy.
